According to health studies, aging is not only determined by the number of years a person has lived, but also by the condition of the body’s cells and organs over time. Researchers explain that the body constantly repairs damaged cells, but unhealthy habits can increase damage faster than the body can recover, leading to early signs of aging.

One of the major factors identified by experts is smoking. Medical professionals note that smoking reduces oxygen supply to the skin and damages collagen, the protein responsible for maintaining firm and youthful skin. Long-term smoking has also been linked to lung disease, heart problems, and faster deterioration of blood vessels.
